Where can I park / How do I get there?

There are several options available.

Parking is available for a nominal rate at multiple locations adjacent to the event, including the William F. Poe Parking Garage north of Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park (600 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa, FL 33602).

We encourage you to park once to enjoy the River O’ Green Fest at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and walk the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk to other downtown destinations. You can also travel to the event by Pirate Water Taxi, Coast Bike Share, and more! Visit the Getting Around section in Tampa’s Downtown to explore all your options.


Are dogs allowed?

Leashed dogs are welcome on the Tampa Riverwalk, adjacent downtown parks and the River O’ Green event areas. Dogs are not allowed to drink beer or swim in the green river. 🙂

Is the River O’ Green Fest free to attend?

River O’ Green Fest is free to attend and is open to all ages. The event vendors offer food and drink for purchase.


What are the hours?

The River O’ Green Fest is from 4:00pm until 10:00pm. The dyeing of the Hillsborough River begins at 4:00pm.


Is the green dye safe?

The dye is safe for humans and wildlife. It is used in food and in eye surgery to trace blood vessels.
